GFI is Moving!
We are moving GFI to Marshfield, Missouri, which is about 15 miles northeast of Springfield. Bob's moved his family there already and is doing final assembly out of his garage till the new shop is built. The new address and phone number are below and we can take calls and receive mail now even before the shop is finished.
Student Model Price Increase
Effective March 15, 2008, the list price for all new Student Model pedal steel guitars with 3 pedals and 2 knee levers will be $1045.00. The price for the case and any additonal knee levers will be the same. For years we have kept the Student Model pricing unchanged and as low as possible but our costs have continued to rise and we finally decided we have to keep up a bit.

The new "Expo" model is designed to be a more economical professional quality pedal steel guitar. It features classic wrap-around styling, angled frame rails, and nearly all of the mechanical features of the "Ultra" models. Available as an S-10 with a list price of $2095.00, an S-1o with a pad for $2550.00, or a D-10 for $3295.00. The "Expo" frame and body part finish will be limited to Hammer Tone Gray. The D-10 E will come standard with 8 pedals and 4 knee levers, the S-10 E and S-10 P E with 3 pedals and 4 knee levers, and a fifth vertical knee lever will be available as an option for all. Stainless steel changer fingers will be available as an option, but the Keyless Tuning System will not.
